What is Beijo?
Beijo is inspired by the beloved Brazilian food “Pão de Queijo”, translated from Portuguese as “cheese bread” and pronounced pown-deh-KAY-zho. These delicious, naturally gluten-free snacks have been enjoyed in South America for centuries.

Where can I find Beijo? 
At our website, where we will deliver straight to you (Switzerland only) and a few stores around Switzerland. Find the list in the section  "store finder"

How do you ship? 
We ship with DPD, packed in a eco-friendly wool linen together with frozen gel to keep the frozen temperature. 

Is your shipping packaging eco-friendly?
Absolutely, we work with a biodegradable wool linen in order to keep the frozen temperature. You can simply throw it away in your compost bin. Or even better, you can reuse anytime you are transporting fresh ingredients! 

How do I dispose of the packaging? 
Wool linen goes in the compost bin and the box in the paper bin.

Is the product delivered ready to eat? 
No, our Beijo is sent raw and frozen ready to be put in the oven for 25 minutes.

How to prepare? 
25 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees. You can find all the instructions in the back of the packaging.

What ingredients are in Beijo?
Manioc flour, Gruyère cheese, Grana Padano cheese, milk, eggs, salt, colza oil.

Is it Gluten-Free?
Yes it is naturally Gluten-free because it is made with manioc flour.

Is Beijo vegan? 
No, it is vegetarian. It contains eggs and milk.

Where do the ingredients come from? 
Manioc flour from Brazil and everything else from right here in Switzerland.

Is Beijo safe for me if I'm alergic to walnuts or other nuts?
Yes it is safe but it main contain traces of walnuts.

Where do you make Beijo ? 
In our lab kitchen in Lausanne, Switzerland.
